Mr Zarrabieh (who is also a board member of both the Saman Electronic Payment Company and the Saman Brokerage Company) was first Deputy CEO before becoming CEO of Saman Bank in June 2010.
Mr Zarrabieh was elected Chairman of the Board in 2014.
He holds a master’s degree in Finance from the CASS Business School in London (specialising in corporate finance and valuation) and an MBA from Manchester Business School, UK (specialising in strategy).
Former Head of the Monetary and Banking Research Academy (MBRA) and advisor to the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran and to the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Dr Mojtahed joined Saman Bank in March 2010 as the Executive Vice President in Research and Planning as well as the Chairman of the Board of the Iranian Credit Bureau and Scoring Company. Since September 2012, Mr Mojtahed first acted as Chairman of Saman Bank’s Board of Directors, then (since March 2014) as Vice-Chairman of the Board. Holder of a PhD in Economics from Iowa State University, USA, Dr Mojtahed also enjoys a successful academic career as a researcher and professor at Allameh Tabatabaei University.
Before joining the board, Ms Geraminejad worked in Saman as International Banking Director. She worked at Tejarat Bank from 1977 to 2008, with her latest position being Head of Treasury and Corresponding Relationship. Ms Geraminejad holds a master’s degree in General Linguistics from the University of Tehran.
Mr. Gholamreza Khalil Arjomandi has been working as a board member and vice president of finance and investment in Saderat Bank, Shahr Bank and TOSE Credit Institute since 2007. Also in his background, he has been a board member in Securities and Exchange Organization as well as chairman of Audit Committee in that organization. He is a board member in Saman Bank since June 2016.He holds a DBA degree and a Ph.D. in Economics. He is also a member of the faculty of Islamic Azad University and managing director in charge of "Eghtesad e Khalagh" journal.

Seyed Ahmad Taheri Behbahani
With more than half a century of experience in the banking industry, Mr Taheri Behbehani has worked for Saman since 2012 as Senior Executive Advisor to the Board in International Banking, and since 2014 as the CEO. His career highlights in managerial, advisory and executive positions include CEO of Bank of Sharjah, Advisor to the Chairman and CEO of Dubai Islamic Bank, CEO in Iran Foreign Investment Bank, CEO, President of Eghtesad Novin (EN) Bank and CEO of the Metallurgy Contractors Group. Mr Taheri Behbehani holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Shiraz University.
Mr. Alireza Marefat has his MS in MBA. He is cooperating with Saman Bank since 2003. From 2014 to 2017, he was Corporate Banking Director. He continued with Saman as Credit Deputy of the bank. Mr. Marefat is Secretary of the Corporate Credit Commission since 2016 till now. He is chosen as Deputy CEO of Saman Bank in 2018
Mr Gharahi was appointed as Executive VP ITC in August 2013. Prior to this, he was working as the Director of IT. He has years of managerial experience as CEO of Laleh Computer Company and Tondar Noor Company. Mr Gharahi holds a master’s degree in Industrial Management from the University of Tehran.
Mr Javad Goharzad, MA in Accounting, acts as the Director of the Internal Audit and Control Division. A member of numerous professional bodies, including the Iranian Association of Certified Public Accountants (IACPA), the Iranian Institute of Certified Accountants (IICA), the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Iranian Association of Official Experts (IAOE), Mr Goharzad’s thirty-nine-year career includes more than fourteen years of experience both as an independent and internal auditor for banks and financial institutions. He also has over fifteen years of experience as a director and partner in professional audit practices. In addition, he has spent over fifteen years as an independent auditor for public limited companies listed in the Securities and Exchange Organisation of Iran.
